The Boise Curling Club generally offers longer leagues in the fall (October-December), winter (January-March), and spring (April to May), with some shorter leagues (including mixed doubles!) sprinkled in between. See below for more details, and to sign up.
2025 Fall League
SOLD OUT! Registration is closed.
Team signup deadline: Sunday, September 28
Individual signup deadline: Wednesday, October 1 @ 5pm
Hop back into curling this fall with the season's first league, running from October through December. The planned format will be the same as last spring: seeding games followed by a mini-playdown to crown a league champion!
Games will take place on Sundays at 5pm and 7pm starting October 5 and ending December 14. Teams will play on only one of the two Thanksgiving weekends on November 23 and 30 (if you have a preference, please indicate so in the comments when you sign up – your preference will be taken into account but is not guaranteed).
The league is open to curlers of all abilities and experience levels. Sign up your team, or register as an individual and be placed on a team.
- Dates: October 5 to December 14 (ten games)
- Times: Sunday draws from 5-7pm and 7-9pm
- Location: Idaho Ice World, 7072 S Eisenman Rd, Boise ID 83716
- Cost: $285 per person
The team signup deadline is Sunday, September 28. If you are forming a team, please make sure all team members are registered by that date. If your team isn't fully signed up by then, the drawmaster will fill remaining team spots with individual league participants. If you are planning a team with more than four players, get four registered, then shoot a note to [email protected] naming your additional curlers (they must be current club members).
The signup deadline for individuals is Wednesday, October 1 at 5pm.
We'll see you on the ice!
2026 Winter Weekend League
Work In Progress – please don't sign up yet!
Cost: $142.50 per person (5 games)
Signup deadline: Friday, January 2 @ 2pm MST
Join us for a fun, 5-game scramble league over January and February Sundays! The goal of this league is to let everyone play with some new teammates in a casual, laid back setting. Read on for more details.
Only individual or pairwise signups will be open (no teams). To sign up as a pair, just sign up as an individual but name your partner in the "want to play with" field, and that request will be honored (assuming your partner named you too!)
Individuals and pairs will then be grouped into teams in a way that should roughly even the playing field. The teams will be fixed for the duration of the league (so no scrambling into a different team every week). The hope is this format will let players get to know a few fellow club members in a new way.
Due to conflicts with hockey tournaments, the rescheduling of the S.O.B., and the Super Bowl, the games will take place over a disjointed schedule, but always on Sundays between 5 and 9pm. Take careful note of the below dates and draw times:
- Sunday, January 4 from 5-7pm and 7-9pm
- Sunday, January 11 from 5-7pm and 7-9pm
- Sunday, January 18 from 5-7pm and 7-9pm but some teams will have byes (note: this is the S.O.B. Sunday!)
- Sunday, January 25 from 7:15-9pm but some teams will have byes (note: this draw is unfortunately slightly shortened)
- Sunday, February 1 from 5-7pm and 7-9pm
- No games February 8 (Super Bowl)
- No games February 15 (Ice World conflict)
- Sunday, February 22 from 5-7pm and 7-9pm
For those of you interested in a more traditional format, there will be a 6-game Thursday league coming up in February and March. Registration for that will open in the new year.
Good curling! For any questions about this league and the format, please email [email protected].
2026 Winter Weekday League
Work In Progress – please don't sign up yet!
Signup opens: TBD (early 2026)
Cost: $171 per person (6 games)
In a welcome development, the club was able to secure ice time on Thursday evenings in February and March! We'll be using this time to run a traditional, competitive league, with a format that will be finalized in the coming weeks. Read on for more details.
In the spirit of a competitive league, only team signups will be allowed (all team members still pay individually though). With the league not open yet, now's the time to start planning! If you're a team looking for a player, or an individual looking for a team, have those conversations now to be ready when registration starts.
Space in this league is limited! We'll have only a single draw every week, not two. As such, once you register your team and reserve one of the ten slots, all team members just join the team and be paid up within seven days! If not, your team may be booted from the league.
Ice availability being what it is, the six games will take place over seven weeks and at different times (some of them later than usual). Please take careful note of the draw times below:
- Thursday, February 12 from 8:30-10:30pm
- Thursday, February 19 from 8:45-10:45pm
- No draw February 26
- Thursday, March 5 from 7:30-9:30pm
- Thursday, March 12 from 7:30-9:30pm
- Thursday, March 19 from 7:30-9:30pm
- Thursday, March 26 from 7:30-9:30pm
Good curling! The club is looking forward to finally being able to try weekday evening draws and see how it goes! For any questions about this league and the format, please email [email protected].
